Captain Eric Addis is pilot for Pentastar Aviation. He is currently serving on the Lakeshore Shore Express Saab 340 aircraft. He received his flight training and B.S. from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. Over the past 17 years Eric has flown over 6,500 hours and has nearly 1,700 hours in the Saab 340 aircraft. Eric holds an Airline Transport Pilot License from FAA (the highest license available) and is rated in Boeing 727, 737, Saab 340, and Embraer 170/190 aircraft. In the past, Eric has served as a Flight Safety Inspector, Jumpseat Coordinator, Airline Ground School Instructor, and Flight Instructor. He is also an Eagle Scout with a Bronze Palm (the highest rank in scouting, received by only 2% of scouts worldwide).
Outside of aviation he is quite busy too. He currently lives in Macomb County where he and his wife (Tanya) are raising their two young daughters. In his free time Eric enjoys camping, playing with his daughters, watching NCAA football and Detroit Redwings hockey.
